The Capsule Endoscopy Global Summit (CEGS) organized by WEO & Chinese Association of Gastroenterologist& Hepatologist has been attracting and supported by numerous well-known experts in this sector since its founding, which gradually turns into a professional academic conference of great significance for academic exchanges in capsule endoscopy field at home and abroad. I would like to express my gratitude to the leaders at all levels and colleagues in academia who have actively participated in and supported the summit: thank you for promoting the development of clinical application of capsule endoscopy technology in China, and for your breakthroughs in new products and technologies, which enables a great number of patients to escape from suffering of diseases and to lead a healthy life.
